This was followed by a tape - slide presentation about Wargrave history by Geoff Briggs. Starting with the earliest known settlement site, near the River Loddon, Geoff took us to Mill Green, the church and churchyard. Moving on to Church Street, Ferry Lane, and then up School Lane and Victoria Road, Geoff had skillfully mixed historic and modern pictures to recount the history.
