The Second Book of Wargrave

Second Book of Wargrave

The Wargrave Local History Society  published in 1999 a reprint of the earlier volume "The Book of Wargrave".

'The Second Book of Wargrave' - a companion volume to the 'Book of Wargrave'- was published on September 25th 1998.  The launch event took place in the Woodclyffe Hall, when many of the authors were present, and other people connected with the book production.

The standard edition is available for purchase at a price of £16 for this 328 page hardback book with 116 illustrations. The first 'Book of Wargrave' sold out its initial print run in a few weeks, so make sure that you buy the latest book NOW! The content of the book is complementary to 'The Book of Wargrave', but it includes a background history, so it can be read without reference to the earlier volume.

Copies of the book are available in the village from Victoria News or Village News, or Sheeplands Farm Shop; also from local bookshops or by ordering through the book trade. We can also provide a limited mail-order service.

Standard Edition ISBN: 0 9511878 3 X
